Description

Mirage named after the optical phenomenon has a design based on reflections. Their hair has an iridescent sheen, constantly shifting through blues, violets, greens, and silvers. Their skull cut out of a CD. You can probably hear them coming from across the hall because they're always blasting music. They act as an archivist of sort for the tombsonas.

Backstory

Mirage is a tombsona who connects with their host through reflections and music.

One night, while reorganizing their shelves after buying a cracked CD, the host caught movement in its reflection. It was glowing light, hard to look away. An indescribable symphony began to play and although there were no eyes to look at, the two figures had locked eyes for a moment, then there was no CD, there was less of a person, and Mirage remained.

Mirage connects with their host through reflections and sound. They manifest within mirrors, windows, polished surfaces, and especially the reflective side of CDs. They can influence nearby audio equipment, causing forgotten songs to play, cassette players to function without power, or snippets of melodies to emerge from complete silence. Strong emotions can make reflections behave strangely around them, showing memories or symbolic imagery instead of reality.

They dislike disposable culture and have little trust in anything that exists only digitally, believing tangible objects hold pieces of the people who cherished them.
